Women’s Ministry

Shiquita Wells, as many refer to her as Lady Wells is a Wife, Mother, Leader, Worshipper, and preacher of the gospel. She was taught and reared in a strict Pentecostal upbringing under her grandfather Bishop R. H. Willis. At the age of 16 she received the gift of the Holy Ghost. Lady Wells would go on to preach her first sermon at 23 under the tutelage of the late Superintendent Lonnie Wells of Evangelist Temple C.O.G.I.C. of Chicago IL. She has since continued to actively serve in ministry in various capacities for over 20 years.

She is the Co-Pastor/ Elect Lady of New Manna International Ministries of Moss Point, MS under the leadership of her husband of 23 years , Pastor LeJarius Wells. Lady Wells most fulfilled moments of life and laughter comes from time spent with family. She is blessed to be the mother of 5 amazing children, Dereon, Ariah, Judah, Silas, and Saylor. Her daily life with her beautiful family is a testament to God's faithfulness and to the call of God on her life. She carries the "Mantle of a Midwife". Lady Wells was married for more than 18 years before the Lord saw fit to bless her womb to conceive. Today, more than ever she understands the mission, mandate, and mantle for the call of God in which he has anointed her to walk in.

 
It was in 2008 while pregnant with her first child that she heard the Lord whisper "W.O.M.B." Not knowing what it meant at the time; Lady Wells would later experience more than 15 years of being told she was "barren  and would not conceive." It was during these years that the Lord began to unveil himself to her in a way she had not known.  He allowed her to experience brokenness, shame, the cutting, the squeeze, the pressure and finally the tearing. Through these years she learned the power of prayer in which God refined his voice, solidified his call, ignited her fire, and purified her heart. Today, her daily life is a true reflection of one that strives to please God in every season of her life. She lives the word of God and is the very embodiment of a "spiritual midwife". Those whose lives' have been changed by her ministry " W.O.M.B" -Women Ordained to Mentor Birth would agree that she is an infectious gift to the body of Christ and that the hand of Lord is on her life with evidence that " What she Carries is for Nations."
